Just a few pictures from this month

This is the camera I use – Having a good camera doesn’t guarantee good pictures.  You still have to understand fundamentals & mechanics of it.  But, good cameras will free you from limitations.

When I say "good cameras" I mean Canon or Nikon at $200 – $300 price range.  Of course, it’s better to spend more money if you can afford.

This instant coffee from Starbucks is very good.  This is perfect when I visit my friends and relatives who are not coffee drinkers.  Costco sells them and I would buy it if they were cheaper.

Costco only sells Columbia flavor.  Maybe that’s the only available flavor in the market.

I got this 3 packs as a gift.  Good stuff.

My friend measured my blood pressure the other day.  I have no idea what these numbers mean.  Anyway, she said it’s good.

Costco Shopping – May 26, 2010

* 17th Costco Shopping this year, 3rd time this month.

I went to Costco today to relieve stress I have from work.
I should feel lucky that I have a job… but I am stressed.

I took my time and looked around.

I feel better now.

I am thinking about going back to Costco next week.
I find it theraputic.

Oxnard Costco Car Wash – Video (YouTube)

Check this out~!!

Oxnard Costco’s car wash is opened already.  That was a fast construction.

At first, I was worried that there would be a long line.  I thought the line would move slow, but no.  There was no line because the line was moving fast.

Whole wash took about 3.5 minutes.

I was instructed to put my car at neutral, feet off the break, and hands off the steering wheel.

I had to cut the video shot (at the end) – because there was a Costco employee giving me  instruction for me to wait for the green light.   I wouldn’t show faces of Costco employees.

All and all, I am happy with the wash.

Pancake Breakfast (with SPAM)

All the talk about pancake mixes

I had to have some pancakes for Sunday breakfast (with SPAM).

I think SPAM is one of the most under-rated food items.
Whenever people talk about SPAM, they make faces and/or say "Yuck!".  As if they are too good for SPAM.

But, the fact is that SPAM is one of the most popular food items.  I don’t eat SPAM every day (not even every month).  But, I have to have SPAM once in a while.  I love SPAM.

I eat SPAM raw when it’s freshly opened.  And I love it fried.

Finally Opened the Printer

Here’s a printer I bought almost 2 years ago (September 2008).  I paid $50.00 with free shipping at that time.

My old printer died this weekend.  So, after 20 months, I finally opened this printer.  It prints good.  I am happy.

I went online and checked the price? They still sell this printer for $160 and up.

Costco gave me (back) $50

Hello there!  I just got back from Costco.  Unfortunately my car broke down in the parking lot, but that is another story.

Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Alan, and I am from Seattle.  The main two Costcos I shop at are the 4th Ave store (which is the original Costco, let me remind you!) and the Issaquah store.  I go about 3-4 times a month, for both business and pleasure.

I buy most everything at Costco… food, electronics, clothes, household items, etc.  I am single and in my 20’s, so not really too much bulk stuff, I like Costco more for the deals on everyday items.

So back to today.  I noticed that the air conditioner I bought for my condo is now on sale.  I purchased the unit a little less than a month ago for $50 more.  I was not going to bring the unit in, so I brought the receipt in.  Fortunately for me, the Returns man was most helpful; he checked my receipt and gave me $50 cash on the spot.  Love Costco!

Of course I immediately spent the $50 and then some the very same day… getting a couple of Wii games (I just bought the Wii at Costco on Monday:), as well as coupon items Dove soap, toilet paper, San Pellegrino Limonata (which by the way, I take credit for Costco stocking as I wrote them a letter about the need to carry it… they listened!) and a copy of Toy Story on BluRay ($8.50 and comes with a free ticket to Toy Story 3!).

I’ll try to remember to post photos in the future.  Glad to be blogging here.  I am a true Costco fan.
