Costco Shopping – January 23, 2013

Shopping cart picture didn’t show today’s action, so I had to take extra pictures at home.

I am trying to move away from wearing Costco’s black undershirt as my work clothes.

This Calvin Klein T-Shirt (black) is slim fit.  This is not for everyone.  It will reveal smallest pot bally.

Kirkland Signature’s Pima Cotton T-Shirt (olive) is a regular fit. Quality of pima cotton is superior than regular cotton.  You can feel the difference.  This is a high class T-Shirt.  $11.99 is a good price.

I have an Italian Percolator now.  I shall learn how to make espresso.  I keep decaffeinated (and flavored) coffee for some nights when I have small jobs before I go to sleep.

They had 2 brooms and dusters set for $10.59.  I have a feeling these are special items that will not come back once they are sold out.  This is a very good value.

Costco Shopping – February 15, 2013

I’ve been thinking about reverse osmosis (water filtration) system for some time.  I thought $40.00 instant rebate was my calling.  I hope it’s not difficult to install.  We’ll see.

I bought another outdoor light.  I already have one of these installed by the front door, and I am pretty happy with this.  I will install this one on the side (or back?) of the house.  These LED lights use very little electricity.  I would rather leave these lights on all night, than having motion activated lights.

Motion activated lights mean I am planning to scare off somebody when somebody has already decided to rob me and is about to break in.  Continuously lit lights will discourage bad people from targeting my house at the first place.  At least that’s what my common sense is telling me.

Then I bought bread, turkey, and snap peas for work (lunch).

I used my American Express rebate check today.
