Costco Shopping - April 11, 2014

I try to eat good (better).

Several months ago, I stopped adding salt on my cooking altogether.  I don't add salt when I eat anything.  After several months of avoiding salt, if I eat salty food I can feel my tongue burning from too much sodium.  But, I still miss taste of salt... I want some kind of seasoning.

I bought a bottle of "No Salt Seasoning" by Kirkland Signature.  I guess I'm not the only one asking for such product.

I bought a bottle of balsamic vinaigrette so I would enjoy salad without adding fatty dressing.  I try to come up with my own low-fat dressing.

All the other items I bought pretty much show I am thinking about eating better.  (Oatmeal, fat free milk, fish, pumpkin flax plus granola).

Let's see how long I will keep it up.

Brie cheese is a treat. :)

Costco Shopping March 3, 18, & 21

Below is pictures of my past 3 Costco shoppings. (March 12, 18, 21)

3 tables were for my friend.  She will pay me later.

Costco Shopping March 5, 2014

I haven't been to Costco for three weeks.  Last three weeks I went to Smart and Final, Trader Joe's, and Vons multiple times each. For some reason I didn't need to shop at Costco. I cannot explain why.

I'm getting ready for St. Patrick's Day.

Happy Valentine's Day - Costco to Rescue

Happy Valentine's Day.  I love you. :)

I understand a lot of people hate Valentine's day, because it's just another commercialized day that society designed for us to spend money.

I used to hate all holidays for that very reason.

Then I got older.. and I started to appreciate all commercially promoted holidays such as Valentine's Day and Christmas.  I now enjoy looking up the sky and feel the season changing.  As I get older I feel more sentimental over a lot of things.

Photograph taken 2014 - Sorry I put ©2013 by mistake - no time to fix..

I went to Costco a day before Valentine's Day.  I had a blind faith that Costco must have roses, and they did have bunch of dozen roses for sale. They were $15.99 each(dozen).  I also bought a simple card from 99 Cents only store and wrote a short message.  I spent less than $20 on everything.

Valentine's day is just another stupid tradition.  You can live your life either enjoying this stupid tradition or feel grumpy about it.

Remember this: People will not get educated ("see the lights") by your logic behind why you hate commercialized holidays.  But they will only learn that you are a grumpy person, period.

As always, God bless single people.  I am not single this time around.

If you are having hard time finding your valentine, consider online dating.  To me, dating websites are the only way to find my match.  In average I meet 0 new people per a year.   I would pay ten times more on my dating websites for what they do for me.  I don't understand why some people look down upon online dating.  Maybe I will write about this subject.

Happy Valentine's

Below is my past Valentine's Day blogs.

Costco Shopping - February 10, 2014

Lately I've been going to Costco often and buy small quantity of items.

Today I bought a chicken for dinner, and a container to leave in my trunk.

I go to garage sales and estate sales.  I always need a container or two.

In and out, baby.

6 Costco Shoppings in 8 days.

2 weeks ago, I shopped at Costco 5 days straight (Monday - Friday).  Then I went back the next week.  I made a small purchase on each visit to Costco.  There is a Costco warehouse conveniently located on my way to work.

(It's awkward, but..) 4 pair pack of Vanity Fair panties were for my female friend.  They were $11.99 ($3/pair).  She took the panties, she liked them, but she didn't give them the highest rating.  She prefer cotton panties.  These Vanity Fair bikinis are not cotton.  They were just "Good enough, but not the best", according to her.

For the record:

  • I believe it is a men's duty to remember measurements of our spouses/girlfriends (and appreciate that measurements)
  • I asked my friend if she can wear the panties and pose for the blog (picture).  She said "No".

Snap ware food containers were $20 after $5 coupon saving.  I needed them.

A pair of gift certificate were for my friend who's celebrating his birthday soon.  I am invited to his party.
