noisy fan

Just installed GE SOLANO LED CEILING FAN.  I like the looks and the light, but it is too loud.  The motor is noisy to the point that I will probably be returning this item. 

Anyone else have this issue?  Maybe I got a bad one?

Expensive (quality) ceiling fans should not be noisy.  You should not hear anything.  Low noise level is one of the main selling points for high quality fans.  A noisy ceiling fan will drive me crazy at night.  My guess is that you have a bad copy.  From online reviews a lot of people were praising about hearing no sound at all.
