After the accident, I had to buy a car ASAP. So, I bought what I thought was the most boring & economical car. I wanted my car to blend in with the rest. It also had to be garage sale friendly. So, I bought a Prius station wagon – a used one, of course.
I felt depressed and alone after the accident. So, I bought some Christmas gifts for myself to cheer me up. I bought a leather briefcase from Coach and a designer wallet from England (Italian leather). They were on sale.
I texted my friend about what I bought. Then my friend pointed out that I was a yuppy.
PS. I still have a headache. I have a dizzy spell as well. I am going to see a doctor tomorrow morning. I will update you.

Nothing wrong with liking nice things! You’ve worked hard to get to where you are in life and you should be proud of yourself. What matters is that you treat others nicely and don’t turn into a snob, which I’m sure you haven’t. You seem like a quality person.
