I have this laundry sorter by Seville Classics – I purchased from Costco (of course).  I love this laundry sorter.  I give them my highest recommendation.

Below picture shows 4 bags (1 extra bag)

The sorter has three bags.  This may be perfect for some people, but I need 4 or 5 bag system.   Maybe it’s because I live alone.  Maybe because I always think about using my time efficiently.

I wear a lot of dark clothes compared to white clothes (that require bleach).  Also, most of my laundry require warm wash & normal dry.  But some of my delicate items require cold wash and low dry.  If you really want to be efficient, you really need more than 3 bags.

My plan is to add 1-2 more bags to this rack, and I would do wash whenever I have three bags ready.  To me, this makes a perfect sense.

I would separate my clothes sorted by following order:

      1. Warm wash
      2. Cold wash
      3. White (Bleach only)
      4. Misc (Delicate, towels…)

      Ordering extra bags & hangers

So, I went to Seville Classics’ website to order extra bags.

I was happy that they sell extra bags.

      • They sell bags and hangers separate.
      • They sell bags in sets of 3 each.
      • They sell wire hangers individually (not in pairs).

      So I ordered following items:

      • 3 pack of laundry bags – $14.99
      • 1 set of wire handles – $6.99
      • Grand Total – $31.00 (after tax & shipping)

** Updated Dec 2010: They do not sell extra bags and hangers anymore at the company website.

One of our visitors sent me this picture.

She bought this laundry sorter at Walmart for under $40.00.  This unit already had four bags.  I had to spend twice the money for my hampers.  I believe my laundry sorter has a better construction.  But, still, that’s a pretty impressive buy.  I better check out Wal*Mart once in a while.

John, I was wondering if you have a bag to sell b/c I contacted Seville Classics and they don’t sell any individual bags/wire handles. Let me know what you think and if you know of any other way I could find another bag or 2!!!!!

      Oh, just to clarify…
I have a bag to send you.
I do not have the wire handles.

When you buy the handle, you need to buy 2 to make a pair.
Maybe website is changed, so double check.

      God bless.

Hey John! I checked on Seville’s website and they don’t have any packages of wire handles to sell, so don’t worry about mailing me the bag b/c I wouldn’t know how to hang it without the wire. Do you have any thoughts?

      Oh, I see.
I went to their official website – they don’t sell accessories anymore (what you told me originally).

mm.. I wouldn’t know what to do.
I would check back with Seville’s website, but I don’t know..
      Sorry about that.

I’m looking for parts as well. Bags, handles, or even just the black rubber covers since I have a kitty who thought they tasted good. Any ideas?

I have a bag I can mail you (for free, I pay shipping).
      But it’s just a bag… no handles.

If you would like, give me your mailing address from this link http://www.ilovecostco.com/contact. Do not post your address here.

Do they sell this in store or online only?

I bought it 4 years ago at my local Costco warehouse.

I see them on and off. I remember seeing new and improved version of it.

Also, I saw similar item at Wal*mart, but it was obviously low quality.
