Happy Fathers Day.  (from last weekend)

I'm having my own Egg hunt alone...

We went to Farmers Market.

I couldn't find a parking spot, so I had to settle with a street parking.

For my luck, I found a spot between two cars, just enough for one car to squeeze in.  As I was getting ready to back up, my friend said "OK, let me see how you parallel park".

"Are you kidding me? I park within an inch... maybe a half an inch.  You'll see." I replied with confidence.

I parked in one try, very fast.

Her jaw dropped.  "Wow~!" she said.

We got out of the car.  I snapped two pictures and said, "Best parking in the block, I tells ya."

Then, we joined the people walking towards to farmers market.

I took this picture at a fast food restaurant.

This is the worst spot to put a urinal.

Sometimes restroom doors don't lock.  Sometimes (female) employee can open the door with a key.  There are number of reasons why somebody can open the restroom door while you are taking care of business.

When somebody opens the door, I would like that person to look at my back side from far away.  I will say something like "Sorry, the door doesn't lock".  And we will be embarrassed a little.

But, look at this picture.  This is the worst place to put a urinal.  Sometimes I open the restroom door just a little to make sure nobody is using the restroom.   With this setting, I will open the door just a little and get an eyeful.

Anyway, when I used this urinal, I put my left and over the door just in case.

Stupid...

I went to a coffee shop the other day.

I saw this lady giving out cats.

Of course, I stopped by to chat with her (This is the thing about living alone.  You take every chance you get to talk to strangers, because you are freakin' lonely )

Anyway, she's not allowed to have more than 1-2 cats at her apartment, but her cat just had a litter.  So she brought a basket full of cats and staged in front of this coffee shop.

She didn't seem to have problem giving them away.  She was holding on to the last one.  Poor guy is absolutely adorable.

This is a typical scene.

I buy 7-10 days worth of tomatoes when I find good price.

I carry in my Costco grocery bag where-ever I shop.  I try to do my part.

I didn't expect this in the mail

They sent me a new American Express card.

I didn't know at first.  Then I looked at the backside...
The new card has a black backside, and it says "Executive"

When I walk in to Costco, I like to flash my card and say "Executive".
hehe..

I'm still very busy... :(

They don't say "Christmas" in writing, but these designs are clearly for Christmas.

Some people think Coke products are completely gone from all Costco stores.

I don't know about the other cities.  But Coke products are going strong at Oxnard Costco.  I took these pictures June 12, 2010.

Just a few pictures from this month

This is the camera I use - Having a good camera doesn't guarantee good pictures.  You still have to understand fundamentals & mechanics of it.  But, good cameras will free you from limitations.

When I say "good cameras" I mean Canon or Nikon at $200 - $300 price range.  Of course, it's better to spend more money if you can afford.

This instant coffee from Starbucks is very good.  This is perfect when I visit my friends and relatives who are not coffee drinkers.  Costco sells them and I would buy it if they were cheaper. 

Costco only sells Columbia flavor.  Maybe that's the only available flavor in the market.

I got this 3 packs as a gift.  Good stuff.

My friend measured my blood pressure the other day.  I have no idea what these numbers mean.  Anyway, she said it's good.

I had to have some pancakes for Sunday breakfast (with SPAM).

SPAM:

I think SPAM is one of the most under-rated food items.
Whenever people talk about SPAM, they make faces and/or say "Yuck!".  As if they are too good for SPAM.

But, the fact is that SPAM is one of the most popular food items.  I don't eat SPAM every day (not even every month).  But, I have to have SPAM once in a while.  I love SPAM.

I eat SPAM raw when it's freshly opened.  And I love it fried.
