Not much to say.
My Student Loan, and Forgiveness
As someone who is still paying off a federal student loan, I can understand all the comments I’ve been reading in articles lately about how upsetting it can be for some people who have already paid off loans. At the same time, I’m just glad this “forgiveness plan” will help me pay it off sooner.
And by the way: I’m glad you’re back to blogging!

My financial situation has vastly improved and I shouldn’t complain about some people receiving free money. I am happy for people who enjoy the benefit.
I’ve been slow on keeping up with my blog, because, lately, I’ve been busy thinking about incorporating videos into my blog. It’s been consuming my free time. I finally did one test blog with a YouTube video, instead of a photo gallery.
It’s just fun. Everything is fun. We live in the best time.

I know how you feel! It’s not that other people are benefiting, it’s that you (we) are missing out!
So helping people bothers you just because you didn’t get to benefit from it?
A quick answer is No.
And, if you are new to my blog, I was poor all my life.
Just like the other visitor said (thank you), The benefit of the others doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is that I missed out because I slaved and paid off my loan 20 years sooner. I worked 2 jobs, suffered bells palsy, and paid off my loan while I was still living in a government-subsidized apartment.
Everyone received a piece of chocolate cake. I see them enjoying chocolate cake. But, they don’t give me the cake because, 10 years ago, I sent a ton of money to the cake factory.
Let them enjoy the cake. But, this sucks. Do you feel me?
I am another commenter. I “slaved” my whole life too, lived very cheaply, worked 2 jobs, and went to a worse university than I was accepted for because it was cheaper and I could pay it back faster. I am also not getting anything from this, but I am happy for everyone else for not having to go through what I did. I also have not had the anguish of student debt hanging over my head for the past few years, and that is worth something. Everyone received a piece of the chocolate cake but me, but that is fine because I am already full.
Oh~!! I see what you mean by anguish. I didn’t think about that.
I paid off my loan 20 years sooner. And my mind was at ease for the last 10 years. That relaxed state of mind is worth something. Also, now I am on the side that forgives other people’s loans. It’s better than being on the side that needs forgiveness.
I shouldn’t belly-ache too much. But.. $10k. Dang.. Hahaha!
