Christmas Time at Costco – Get Ready

Get ready for Christmas.

This is what I saw at Costco today (August 20, 2009).

* Today’s Costco shopping: 26th time this year, 1st time this month

I bought one more of those adorable Adidas shirts.

I am trying to buy a sofa. So, I need to make a room. In order to do that, I need to organize everything. The File organizer was what I needed to clean up my paper mess.

One Costco chicken gives me 4 meals. I usually get sick of Costco chicken after finishing it.

* Today’s Costco shopping: 25th time this year, 3rd time this month

I spent over 1 hour at Costco today. I am an indecisive person. When I have unexpected products in front of me, I need to spend plenty of time deciding.

Food-wise, I bought the same old stuff, except for the cheese and seasoning salt. I’ve been doing good with money and diet.

I spent $196.48 today ($38.78 gas, $79.82 clothes, $77.88 food).

5 Lounge shirts were under $5 each. I like these shirts. These are extremely cheap. They are light and soft. They feel pleasing to my skin.

Adidas’ sport shirt was $14.99. I guess I could have spent the same amount of money and bought 2 shirts of lesser quality. But look at that shirt. It’s adorable. I love this shirt. I’ve been doing good with my workout routine. I lost 4 pounds since I started to run 3 months ago.

A pair of vacation shorts was $19.99. I could have saved a few bucks by buying cheaper shorts from Target. But these are Calvin Klein.

The yellow shirt goes with the vacation shorts – it’s for vacation (cruise).

Without Costco, I would buy cheaper quality clothes from elsewhere. I don’t mind buying cheaper quality clothes, but…

I spent almost the same amount of money I would have spent at discount stores. But I walked away with much better products.

This is a perfect example of “elevating my life-style with the same amount of money”

I got 2 more long sleeves shirts. They look very good. But, after taking them home, I realized they are see-through. (show my nipples). So, I’ll have to take them back.

They had 2 packs of stainless steel water bottles for $19.99. I’ve been looking for one of these for some time.

Plastic bottles are bad for the environment. Also, plastic bottles contain BPA (a bad chemical, they say).

But, personally, I bought these stainless steel bottles because they look cute. I’ve been running twice a week for the last 2 months now. I always carry a plastic water bottle when I run. Now I’m going to look even cooler.

I ordered 2 of these sports caps (below) from eBay ($11.31)
I hope they fit the bottles.

Nothing special… boring.

Oh, I bought 2 long sleeves shirts.
Now I have three identical shirts. I love these shirts. They are so affordable ($16.95 each). The quality of these shirts is amazing.

Since I never wear an undershirt, I always worry about my nipples showing through the shirt. These shirts are thick enough, but I still have to be careful. Showing nipples through a shirt is a disgusting look on men. Well, the same goes for 85% of the female population.

* Today’s Costco shopping: 21st time this year, 2nd time this month

I went to Costco during my lunchtime shopping. I hurried without eating lunch.

I spent $190.00.  2 long sleeves shirts & 2 belts were $60.00.

Long Sleeves Shirt:
I thought I had enough shirts. I have about 15 short sleeves shirts. They are all pretty new. Then I fell in love with long sleeves shirts. I think I look better in long sleeves shirts. Short sleeves shirts look casual. Long sleeves shirts are more professional and grown-up.

Anyway, I started to buy long sleeves shirts. I will be happy if I get about 10-15 more long sleeves shirts. I should try NOT to buy any more shirts. I am now making less money than last year. The bad economy is affecting my income as well. It’s a little depressing, but I guess I’m still doing OK. I just need to stay healthy.

Belts:
This is another purchase I made because of costcogilrinVA. I paid special attention to look for these belts. Finally, I have black belts to go with my black pants. Thank you costcogilrinVA Cool

Starbucks Coffee:
I like Starbucks coffee. Peet’s coffee is my favorite, but they are way too expensive.

Coupons:
I used 3 coupons (RedBull, beef jerky, & baby back rib) and saved $14.50. I only buy RedBull when they have a coupon ($8.00 this time).
