Costco Executive Membership Reward

I received my annual Costco 2% executive membership reward check, amount of $96.36. Costco’s executive membership is $110/yr. So, I pay $55/yr more than a regular membership.

With a $96.36 check, my executive membership pays for itself and it pays $46.36 extra. That’s not all. I have Costco/American Express membership. I will receive about $160.00 cashback from AmericanExpress as well.

And I live alone, AND I don’t shop a lot. If you have a big family, then your check must be huge.

This means I spent at least $4818.00 in Costco last year. That seems a lot.

Costco Shopping – January 11, 2013

A happy new year for everyone. I can’t believe my favorite time of the year has come and went already. I’ll have to wait 7 months ’til I see the first sign of Christmas at Costco.

I didn’t buy anything special today.

Bona – this is a wood floor cleaner.

AA Batteries have an expiration date of 2022.

Then I have my first Costco hotdog of the year. It was a good time.

I hope 2013 will go by slowly. Time fly too fast for me.

Happy new year again. I will keep in touch.

I am trying to pick up tips and tricks on baking turkey this year (11 days to go). Women’s magazines are great sources.

Good times.

Update (2021) – I still have that magazine. I still look at it to refresh my memory before baking turkey.

Costco Mixing Bowls – 5 Stainless Steel with Lids

For many years, I wanted to some REAL mixing bowls. I was happy to see Kirkland Signature Mixing Bowls at my Costco warehouse. I believe these are special items. Once they are gone, they will not come back for a long time (or they will never come back). This is one reason I go to Costco weekly. You don’t want to miss out on good stuff.

Pro & Con: These are not as thick as the ones I saw at Bed Bath and Beyond that I liked. I can see rich folks will find them too thin. There are better ones (thicker ones) out there. But, if your standard is not as high, they are great buy. To me, they are perfect.

I’ve been using a cheap plastic bowl from 99 Cents Only Store to mix pancakes. So, this is a big step up for me. I wanted some good mixing bowls for the last 10 years.  I can finally afford them.

* Sorry, I forgot how much they were. I lost my receipt. They were $29.99 (maybe less ?).

I enjoy my time in the kitchen. Quality kitchen items make my time more enjoyable.
