One of my LED light tubes died after 11 months. It’s supposed to last 45 years. It didn’t even make 1 year. I guess it happens.

I took it back the next day (Costco handled it no problem) – and I bought the same pair as a replacement. I hope they last 45 years as they promise. This was a little hassle (a waste of my time), but I was glad I bought them from Costco. Imagine if I bought them from elsewhere, or an online store, etc.. then I’ll have to package them and ship them back??? I avoided a major hassle because I shopped at Costco.

Buying a defective item is something you cannot avoid. It’s nobody’s fault.

Starting tomorrow, your AmEx/Costoco card will stop working PERIOD. Don’t get confused and think you can still use your AmEx/Costco card at other places outside of Costco. 

Your card will stop working completely. According to the AmEx website, you can’t even access your web account starting tomorrow (June 20, 2016).

Keep using your American Express Costco card through June 19th (Sunday)
Start using your new Citi card on Monday, June 20th. 

Your Costco rewards will be carried over to your Citi card automatically

If you received your new Citi card, activate/check-in your card. You can do so by calling or getting online. It took me about 5 minutes (or less) to check-in online.

I don’t know about you, but I have absolutely no reason to use an American Express card anymore. I’ve always thought American Express was hoity-toity. Costco was the only reason I opened the account.
