I am happy with my life. I don’t want to change anything. But I do realize my blog is boring. I will try to do something fun.

Costco Rotisserie Chicken for a single living

I cannot eat the whole Chicken in a day or two. So, to maximize my eating pleasure and to stretch my money, this is what I do.

I divide the bird, put them in small containers, and freeze them.

Costco Chicken

Power Green and Costco Chicken for lunch. I enjoy that salad a lot. I use a plastic fork so I don’t make clinking sounds at work.

21st Costco shopping in 2018 – $14.97 (today) / $1126.53 (this year)

I think I am done buying spinach at Costco. I’ve been having bad luck with Costco spinach too often. I would take these bags home and realize they are already getting old despite long expiration dates. It’s because It’s too dark at Costco produce room that I cannot visually decide if my bag of spinach is fresh or not. It is frustrating. They need some more light in the produce cave. I think I am done buying spinach at Costco. I will stay with Power Greens, or get spinach from Smart and Final (store in California), where the lighting is better.

I should take the bag outside of the produce cave and look at it again.

19th Costco shopping in 2018 – $201.05 (today) / $1106.1 (this year)

I ordered another pair of progressive lenses for my eyeglasses. My current glasses were new, about 5 months old. But, after trying my new progressive lenses from Costco, I refuse to go back to regular lenses. Costco has the best price and best quality on eyeglass lenses. The world looks different with Costco lenses.

I stopped buying small lunch salad kits. Instead, I’ve been making my salad with Power Greens, boiled egg whites, and some protein items (chicken, fish, whatever I can find).

I don’t have any light gray pants. So, I bought two pairs. They are Calvin Klein. I will enjoy them. I don’t have to iron these.

* My heart was set on rotisserie chicken, but they were completely out of chicken. There was a 30-minute waiting time. I was disappointed.

17th Costco shopping in 2018 – $13.37 (today) / $878.29 (this year)

Costco often offers instant savings on Doritos.  That’s when I buy them.

I bought a bag of Doritos for my coworker. If you remember my Christmas video, I walked up to someone’s cubicle and took a scoop of salsa with a cracker (see below at 0:44). I left this bag of Doritos at that table. It was a hit. A few people made remarks about it. People love me at my work.

This text took place before St. Patrick’s Day. My sample lady cut me a huge chunk of corn beef brisket just for me. I had to brag about it to somebody.
