I went to Costco after work. I didn’t buy anything fancy. I am so poor. I am trying to be careful with money. But, look! Christmas time is here. I saw a lot of toys and Christmas ribbons at Costco. “Here we go…” one lady said.

After Costco shopping, I went to Bed Bath and Beyond for some bargain hunting. I bought a Yankee Candle (Christmas scent).

I came home past 9 pm.

2 minutes after I got home, I got a phone call from The Marijuana Girl. She was putting her hamster cage together. She wanted some help. I was at her apartment for 1 hour. 

I came home and ate dinner. Now it’s 1:30 AM Friday.

I will be happy if I get a good 5 hours of sleep. ZZzzz…

Doritos and turkey jerkies were incredibly cheap with special savings and coupons. I saved $11.75 on them. I cannot resist the jerkies. They are so good.

Doritos had an instant rebate – no coupon was needed

Nothing Special – just a lot of vegetables and toilet paper. 

I went to Costco during my lunchtime. I went in and out quickly.

I ate a hot dog before shopping. Then I saved the soda cup. After loading my car, I got a refill for the road.

I finally found reusable shopping bags. I’ve been looking and waiting for Costco shopping bags for over 2 years. I finally found them! Son of a dad, I found them.

The bags don’t say “Costco” anymore. They have a generic design.

They had 2 different bags.

  1. Insulated bag – $6.49 for each bag. It’s large.
  2. Old-fashioned bags – Pack of 4 (2 large & 2 medium) – $4.69/pack

The search is finally over. I bought plenty. Now I can start giving away the bags. When I bring gifts or something to my friends, I tell them to “keep the bag.” And they love it. Everyone loved the bag. They are so practical.

I like the insulated bags. I think $6.49 is a very good price.

Ruta Maya® Organic Cubita® Coffee Dark Roast – Better than Starbucks

This is official. Cubita coffee is far better than Starbucks French Roast. This is my personal opinion, so do not trust me 100% or get angry at me. But I cannot drink Starbucks anymore. It’s that good. Honestly.

As far as I’m concern, I will no longer purchase Starbucks French Roast. I have finally found a replacement for Starbucks French Roast. Unfortunately, I’ll have to spend more money. For that, I learned to make less coffee. I used to make 2.5 cups of coffee every day. Now I make 2 cups of coffee every day.

I’ve been searching for the coffee that will replace Starbucks for a few years.

One of my visitors informed me about Ruta Maya® Organic Cubita® Coffee. You can only buy them from the Costco website, not at the warehouse. Amazon also sells them, but they are very expensive there.

This coffee is excellent.  It’s strong and smooth (not bitter). Starbucks French Roast is bitter.

I bought a Cuisinart coffee grinder on December 17, 2009, at Costco. It had an 18-month manufacturer warranty, and it stopped working after 16 months of use. So, I printed out my Costco receipt and took it back to Costco. This was a little awkward. But I didn’t get my 18 months of use out of it. It was a principal of it.

I went to Costco on my lunch break and got a refund. I looked for a new coffee grinder but didn’t see any. Now I only have 2 coffee grinders at home.

I like my new iPod Touch, but the picture quality is horrible. 

What you don’t see in the picture is Shoe Rack & Vitamins.

SPAM will probably last over 1 year.

I bought precooked Bacon. They are pretty good. I will buy them again. But, sometimes, I like my bacon extra greasy with plenty of fat.

Coupons saved $30.50. But I still spent $181.37.

I had a hot-dog and a half slice of pizza before shopping.

I had a good time.
