Thanksgiving Turkey 2016

This was the 7th straight year I baked Thanksgiving turkey alone. Just like last year, a friend dropped by for a short time. But I was home alone for the most part. I live a stress-free life. I was invited to a couple of places. But I didn’t want to drive 2 hours to see my family. And I didn’t want to go where I could not truly relax. Many people talk about holidays and stress. I have absolutely no stress.

First, I baked the turkey upside down for an hour. Then I flipped the turkey and put it back in the oven. I like this technique. I think it was the best turkey I have ever made. I can’t wait for next Thanksgiving.

Red Lobster biscuits (from Costco) were very good. Turkey, stuffing, organic cranberry sauce, and turkey baking racks were also from Costco.

Is it just me? Or is this the ugliest thing?

It seems like these lights are selling like hotcakes, good for them. But… you cannot pay me enough to have that shining on my house. 

Underwear Drawers

Here’s a picture of my underwear drawers. I put on dark colors in the morning, and whites at night (after shower). I have roughly 65 pairs of underwear.

Below is a picture of my sock drawers. I wear black socks when I go out, to match dark-colored shoes, and wear white at home. The same goes for my T-shirts. I wear dark t-shirts when I go out, and change into a white t-shirt as soon as I come back home.

Here are some bracelets I bought at garage sales. I am finally putting them on eBay one by one. I need more time to get better at eBay.

When I say “I enjoy garage sales” people don’t seem to understand what it’s about. Anyway, it takes certain skills to be good at garage sales. I am obsessed with building that skill.

They are all silver. One is gold-filled. One is gold over silver.

I didn’t find a Michelangelo, but I hit a small jackpot today at a garage sale.

The below picture shows about 75% of what I bought from one garage sale. I also bought a bunch of earrings (not pictured). I paid about $10 for everything I have on my hand. They are all sterling silver.

On Sunday, I watched a few episodes of Columbo (70’s TV show).

One episode showed a building in LA. So, I got online and looked for that building. I am pretty sure I found the building.

Then I took a nap. zzzz…. Crazy good timez.  🙂
