I watched Transformers (2007). I enjoyed this movie because I grew up in the ’80s watching the cartoon.

And I remembered seeing that movie set. I went to Down Town Los Angeles on September 9, 2006. I saw this movie set on the street, so I took a picture. Look below.

Now I know it was for Transformers

I watched Flashdance for the first time today.

Maybe I would have liked it better if I watched it when I was a teenager (?). Anyway, I didn’t like the movie at all.

The audition scene was embarrassing.

This bothered me for about 10 years now.

I finally found time to come up with this clip.

Listen to this 37-second clip.

Is it just me? Or Does Shedaisy sound like ABBA?

I took my parents out for a dinner. This took care of both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. The oysters were enjoyable.

I swear, I thought I saw Jesus Christ on this chair

* Today’s Costco shopping: 19th time this year, 2nd time this month

One interesting item was a sack of potatoes. I am going to use them for juicing. I put 3-4 along with apples & carrots. I think they are pretty good & cheap.

One thing I like about juicing is that I don’t have to worry about finding worms in the apple. (because they are crushed) Haha~~

potatoes (among other things)

I am doing well with my fitness goal. I now eat less & better.

I save the pineapple skin for the juice.

I still have a crate full of old-school Hip Hop (Rap) records. Most of them are about 20 years old. Back then, Hip Hop was underground, so I had to borrow my father’s car and drive to Los Angeles to look for records.

Old School Hip Hop Records

I used to tune my Radio to AM 1580 at night. If I get lucky, I would get a faint reception. Oh, how I enjoyed listening to Greg Mack, the Mack Attack.

Then, late 80s, Rap turned mainstream. I even saw the gang from Saved By the Bell rapping. That’s when I completely stopped listening to rap music.

They used to have some good Hip Hop music back then.

I had 2 turntables and a cheap Realistic mixer from RadioShack. I had fun making my own mixtapes. I made very little money doing DJs for parties as well. I didn’t DJ too much, because I was what they called a “Sucker DJ”

I found this mix from YouTube – below is the kind of music I used to listen to.
