Costco Shopping – February 4, 2020

7th Costco Shopping in 2020 – $9.83 today / $344.88 this year

My favorite colleague came to work really late today. I figured she was not having a good day. So I made a Costco run and got an Acai Bowl for her. This made her feel better.

I worked 11 hours today. So, I treated myself to a Caesar Salad. Costco’s Caesar salad is a guaranteed good meal. The trick is to eat the least amount of dressing possible or completely avoid the dressing. The chicken seemed to contain a lot of salt. And I don’t see anything good about croutons.

iPhone picture. Not good.
SUPER Bowl Snacks For All

Cauliflower Bites: have no discrimination at multiple parties. Absolutely everyone of all ages have loved them. I’ve had noses snubbed, and then eyebrows turned UP after the first bite. Children to 80+ year old’s couldn’t get enough.

Mix Sriracha, mayonnaise and ranch together to a consistency of dipping sauce to your taste. I found the older they are the more sriracha.

New Zucchini Spirals

It is frozen in single nest bundles. I tried them last night with Costco chicken tender’s w/ my own Marsala sauce. You should try them. It takes a lot of work out of making your own as I do. I also bought a bag of fresh zucchini, it is within pounds of each other and dollars. Only suggestion is to cook them at a higher heat with lid cracked to release steam. I will try this next time.

You pan sear on one side, get’s a little brown and flip. Cut larger pieces in half to cook evenly.

Upgrade your Windows 7 – Free

If you didn’t know – Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7. So, Windows 7 is finished and not safe.

If you still use Windows 7, Microsoft is currently providing a free upgrade to Windows 10. Visit this link at Microsoft and follow the instruction. If you need further information, search articles online.

I just upgraded my computer last night, the entire process went smoothly. I made complete hard drive backup before AND after the upgrade as a routine procedure.

The free upgrade is going on right now. I don’t know when they will stop providing free upgrades. I have one more computer to upgrade.

Costco Shopping – January 23, 2020

5th Costco Shopping in 2020 – $53.61 today / $324.92 this year
Member Only Savings – $18.50 today / $68 this year

My song of the day. What I’m listening now.

Costco member only savings (coupon) saved $18.50.

I picked up some extra bottles of Biotin, hoping they will grow my hair. I’ve been taking an extra dose of Biotin for the last few months.

Woolite for all clothes (#2154729) was $12.49 after $3.50 instant saving. The price alone was the reason I decided to I give it a try. I believe all brand-name laundry detergents are the same besides the scent. I buy all my laundry detergents at Costco, so they are all good. I wouldn’t buy some mystery laundry detergents at 99 Cents only store. Also, I question the freshness of 99 Cents only stores laundry detergents. Remember, laundry detergents break down (lose effectiveness) after 6-12 months.

I wrote the purchase date on Woolite jug so I will know how long they last.

PS. OMG, my blog is so boring. Haha. But, I wish you a boring and predictable life. I hope nobody will get sick… no hospital, no court date. I wish you will enjoy your everyday coffee, walk your dog every day, sit on your old couch… and smile forever. Talk to you later.

Costco Shopping – January 14, 2020

4th Costco Shopping in 2020 – $1.64 today / $271.31 this year

Since some people don’t like paper straws, this time I paid close attention to the paper straw. I couldn’t find anything wrong with the paper straw. I have absolutely no complaint. I like these paper straws – with or without environmental benefits.

These don’t count

One of my new year’s resolutions is NOT to buy more than 3 pairs of Italian shoes. Today I received 2 pairs of Italian shoes in the mail – one pair of Oxford with full brogue and the other pair of suede sneakers. (FYI: The tag says Lactae Hevea. It’s a French company that makes natural rubber soles.)

But I ordered these shoes in December 2019. So, these shoes don’t count on my new Year resolution. I still have 3 pairs of Italian shoes to buy this year.

Anyway, why don’t Americans make shoes like these? I have two pairs of Allen Edmonds, but…mm~~ They don’t sing my name.
