First Hint of Christmas at Costco, 2018

I was a little disappointed that these ribbons didn’t scream “CHRISTMAS”

Ribbons were at Costco on August 1st, 2018, just as I expected. But they didn’t have any obvious Christmas designs such as snowflakes or Santa. Still, these ribbons are hinting at us to get ready for Christmas.

Costco Shopping – July 27, 2018

35th Costco shopping in 2018 – $41.68 (today) / $2708.52 (this year)

I looked everywhere, but I didn’t see any sign of Christmas at Costco today. But Christmas is coming to Costco soon.

I really like Kirkland Signature Basil Pesto, so I bought one more jar while it was still on sale. They freeze well. I guess they will last well over a year in the freezer. If you take it out of the freezer, they quickly become soft that you can scoop it out while the pasta is getting ready.

I shall always keep this Basil Pesto and pasta at home. I need to grow basil.

I bought Jose’s Chocolate Raspberry coffee to get ready for Christmas. I will enjoy this coffee on Thanksgiving day when I bake a turkey, and when I watch Polar Express on Christmas Eve.

2 dozen roses were $13.99.

Costco Shopping – July 22, 2018, Organic Cherries

34th Costco shopping in 2018 – $76.22 (today) / $2666.84 (this year)

I went out for Sunday morning Costco shopping.

Sunday morning Costco shopping is special to me. I have to make a special plan and get up earlier than usual. It’s a hassle because I want to enjoy a lazy Sunday morning. But it’s fun once I am out and about.

Costco is crazy busy on Sunday, so I arrived there exactly at 10 AM and left before 10:30 AM. There was no fooling around. I just focused on my shopping list. I use Costco APP’s “Lists” feature for my shopping.

Cherries are amazingly good. I have tried both organic and non-organic cherries from Costco. Organic cherries are much better (tastier) than non-organic cherries. But I need to try more before I conclude organic cherries are tastier.

I went to Walmart after Costco. I came home exactly at 11 am.

32nd Costco shopping in 2018 – $35.43 (today) / $2561.69 (this year)

I made a quick stop at Costco Friday after work. I didn’t buy anything exciting. I didn’t see my favorite sample lady today. I didn’t see my little buddy at the optical department.

I picked up two dozen roses. They were only $13.99.

I almost walked out… then I went back for a hot dog.
