Costco Shopping – November 23, 2013

7th time Costco shopping this month.  3rd straight day of Costco shopping today.

I went to a Costco in a different city to pick up another scarf. This one was for my family member’s birthday.

At Costco, I met a chubby gentleman wearing a really nice Santa hat. I struck a conversation with him because I wanted to know where he bought his Santa hat.

It turned out he is a professional Santa. I had a nice talk with this gentleman. He said he booked solid for the season. He already made a few public appearances. He told me he gets butterflies in his stomach every time before he makes an appearance.

What do you know, even Santa shops at Costco.

Costco Shopping – November 22, 2013

I wanted a red scarf for many years. This may look feminine, but it’s a good accessory during the Christmas season. I am happy I found this. This 100% cashmere scarf was $29.99. A cashmere scarf for $30 is a very good price. It feels amazing, and it looks very expensive.

I bought some more Thanksgiving dinner items.

Maple syrup is back in my house.

Early Christmas Gift To Myself

I bought an early Christmas gift for myself. This is the third guitar I bought this year.

It’s PRS SE Santana ($725). If this was a made-in USA model, it would be about $4000.00 (? not sure). They are for rich people. I’m happy with the imported version. Imported versions are not bad at all. I tuned the guitar the whole step down (D tune) to play Motley Crue songs. Motley Crue is the only 80s Rock band who tuned their guitar in D tune (on every song). Metallica recorded one song in D tune.

I play stuff from the ’70s & 80s (& some early 90s) – that’s when the guitar was glorious.

This is the cheapest guitar I own, and it will stay at my work.

Costco Shopping – October 27, 2013

I went to Costco yesterday (Sat) for gas and a slice of pizza.

I went back to Costco the next day (Sunday) and bought a Kenneth Cole jacket and looked at Christmas items. When I look at Christmas items, I don’t look for shop. I look to enjoy – like I am at an amusement park.

Gift Basket:

I found some girly gift baskets by Burt’s Bees. A gift basket like this can come in handy. I may run out of time to buy Christmas gift, or maybe I would forget a birthday. Then I’ll just whip out this gift basket. Girls like this kind of stuff. If you are a guy, you should get one just in case.

Brie Cheese:

This was a third brie cheese I bought this month. I tried both Kirkland Signature and Alouette. Kirkland Signature imports Brie cheese from Normandy, France. Alouette cheese says they were made from an authentic recipe.

To me, Kirkland Signature Brie cheese is more enjoyable.
