I will puke

This is an Apple commercial – artistically done. But… Oh, God.

If she pulls that out from her ear hole and puts it in my ear hole… I will puke. I don’t even use the same Q-Tip for both left and right sides of my ear. It’s gross.

Hate calling cable company for discount

It is common knowledge that we should call our cable company periodically and ask for a better price. With today’s technology, many people cut ties with cable providers. So, when you call them, they must try to make you happy.

When I first sign up for Verizon FIOS, I was paying $130 a month for cable, internet, & phone service. After several years, my monthly bill is now $169/m.

I knew I should call them and ask for a better price, but I hate calling the cable companies. So, I’ve been putting it off for a few years. I am pretty sure that cable companies know we hate calling them.

Today I finally called them. Now it’s Frontier FIOS. And they gave me a $25/m discount just like that. That’s $300 extra annual income for me.

So… I lost $1000+ last several years because I was not on top of this game… because I hate calling my cable company.

I am the only person to blame for this. I need to be more proactive. I feel stupid. I will not let this happen again.

I have a mild concussion.

Update:

The doctor thinks I have a mild concussion. The x-ray showed a minor neck injury (not too bad). But my problem is the headache that will not go away (nausea & dizziness).

He prescribed me physical therapy. And wants me to check with him in 10 days. We are guessing I will be better by then, or else… (bigger issue)

The doctor didn’t seem worried. He thinks I will be OK. Now I know there isn’t anything horribly wrong with me. For now, I still have a headache.

I am OK. I can still enjoy everyday life.  🙂

Merry Christmas. Happy holidays.

OMG, I’m a yuppy.

After the accident, I had to buy a car ASAP. So, I bought what I thought was the most boring & economical car. I wanted my car to blend in with the rest. It also had to be garage sale friendly. So, I bought a Prius station wagon – a used one, of course.

I felt depressed and alone after the accident. So, I bought some Christmas gifts for myself to cheer me up. I bought a leather briefcase from Coach and a designer wallet from England (Italian leather). They were on sale.

I texted my friend about what I bought. Then my friend pointed out that I was a yuppy.

PS. I still have a headache. I have a dizzy spell as well. I am going to see a doctor tomorrow morning. I will update you.

I am not OK. Pray for me.

*Update – my car was declared a total loss.

I was driving to work Friday morning, and I got hit from behind very hard. The picture may not look like much but look at it closely. The front side of her car is embedded in the backside of my car. I had to pull out a part of her license plate from inside my muffler. Her radiator was destroyed. It was a hard hit.

There is no broken bone. There was no blood. But, 5 days later, I have a headache that seems to get worse. And I feel nauseated. I think I’ll have to see a doctor.

I had to get a rental car, go out car shopping, talk to my insurance company, get my car picked up, etc… I had to remind myself not to skip meals. I had to pay close attention to myself so I will not forget my keys, paperwork, wallet… This was the time I had to take care of myself.

All this is depressing because I realize I am alone in this world. God bless single people. I keep telling you that one thing I envy the most is people who have a family of their own.

Below (picture) – the green circle is the opening of my muffler. It cut the license plate (of the person who hit me) like cookie dough. It blocked exhaust, so I had to drive home slowly.

Several days were blurry. Then I realized Christmas is only a week away. I got robbed out of my Christmas. I only have12 days to Christmas. How poetic is that? Oh, how much I love Christmas. I wish the spirit of Christmas will make things better for me.

I guess I should feel thankful that it’s not worse… It’s not THAT bad, but pray for me.

God bless everyone. I will keep you updated.
