Pancake Breakfast (with SPAM)

I was craving pancakes for Sunday breakfast (with SPAM).

SPAM:

I think SPAM is one of the most under-rated food items.
Whenever people talk about SPAM, they make faces and/or say “Yuck!”. As if they are too good for SPAM.

But the fact is that SPAM is one of the most popular food items. I don’t eat SPAM every day (not even every month). But I have to have SPAM once in a while. I love SPAM.

I eat SPAM raw when it’s freshly opened. And I love it fried.

Finally Opened the Printer

Here’s a printer I bought almost 2 years ago (September 2008). I paid $50.00 with free shipping.

My old printer died this weekend. So, after 20 months, I finally opened this printer. It prints well.

I went online and checked the price of this printer. They still sell this printer for $160 and up.

Update 2021 – I still use this printer. It prints well.

Costco Shopping – April 23, 2010, With a Friend

* 13th Costco Shopping this year, 2nd time this month.

I went to Costco with a friend.

My receipt shows $108.79, but we went half and half on some items.

Coupons saved $21.00

I like Laughing Cow cheese. It was my first time tasting Laughing Cow Cheese (thanks for the $2.00 coupon).

My Friend:
My friend is an elementary school teacher trying to lose weight. That’s why you see 100 calories snack bars & some silly candies. She bought some cat food.

Sign of Getting Old – Flowers

Another sign of getting old

First time in my life I bought flowers to decorate my place.

That’s my dining table. I hate to replace the table. I love my apartment. I enjoy living here a lot. But I don’t feel the need to spend money on this apartment. (update 2021 – I was saving to buy a house)

Costco Shopping – April 10, 2010

The shrimp cocktail was for my guest.

I am happy with Papua New Guinea coffee from Kirkland Signature. This 3lb bag was only $13.89. This coffee is milder than Starbucks’ French roast. I can smell a hint of “Earth” on this coffee. The beans are shiny with a fresh coat of oil.

I was sick a few weeks ago, so I was out of DayQuil.

I’m still doing good with money.
