I went to Costco for Eneloop batteries ($19.99 after $10 instant savings). It was a quick in and out shopping. As I was taking a brisk walk to the batteries, I passed by 2 sample stations. Look what they gave me. That’s a lot of candies. I was so happy.
Christmas is a few weeks away, and Costco is already taking down Christmas items as usual. I noticed all the big items, such as the big snowman, were gone.
I wish to enjoy the holiday season before it’s over. I would like to get out and fight traffic, mix with crazy shoppers, and stop for pumpkin spice coffee. I shall enjoy this magic moment.
I am enjoying special holiday savings at Costco. I am keeping fining some good stuff this year. It’s been fun so far.
This hooded sweatshirt is very fancy for how much you pay ($15.99 after $4 off). It’s high quality. They are by Buffalo David Bitton. I guess it’s somewhat of a fashion brand.
These jackets will hug your body. They are for fit people.
I also bought 3 pairs of Buffalo brand jeans with $15 total savings.
I like this fuzzy shirt. It’s cozy and warm. Actually, it’s a little too warm that I can only wear it when it’s very cold outside. It was only $11.99 with $3 Holiday Savings. The price will go up to $14.99 after November 16th. But $15 is still a super value. I am thinking about getting one more.
Last few weeks, I bought a few more Winter items at Costco. Winter (trail) boots were $23.99 after instant savings of $6. Insulated gloves were $16.99.
The boots are too cheap for my standard, and they smell of rubber (very little). But, It was $23.99, and they have leather tops. It’s a pretty good price for what they are. So, I bought a pair just to keep it. I may need them once or twice a year, but when I do, they will save my day. Because I didn’t have a single pair of Winter shoes (hiking boots).
* This blog was originally written in May 2008. The blog came back to life recently (September 2017) because of the recent outage of the bread. If history repeats itself, the bread will come back to your location. Maybe it has something to do with recent weather events we’ve experienced. We shall see.
Costco is out of Kirkland Signature Multi-grain Bread. This is my favorite bread.
Not all “whole-grain breads” are created equal. You can have a pinch of whole grain in a loaf of bread and call it “Whole Grain Bread”. Kirkland Signature’s bread is 100% whole grain.
Forget All-Bran Cereal’s 10-day challenge (video below). A couple of slices of this bread will make you regular.
The bread was not available on May 5, 2008. One of the Costco employees said something about the grain supply that we may not have Kirkland Bread for few weeks.
