I went to Costco after work to pick up a chicken for dinner.

I bought a globe for people I know. They recently started to take trips all over the world.

I bought another blanket as a backup.

It’s official, this answers our question.

(officially) We do not have to clip coupons anymore. You can just show your coupon books without clipping them. Additionally, you don’t have to have a coupon book with you. If you have a smartphone, you can show coupons from your mobile app. Your cashier will honor the coupon you show on your mobile app.

* I will not be surprised if a lot of Costco warehouses apply coupon discounts to every shopper automatically, without asking for coupons.

Until this point, officially, we were supposed to clip coupons.

*Notice the below image. It says “New! No more clipping coupons!” With this, we are officially not required to clip coupons. A lot of people haven’t clipped coupons already. Gray area is finally cleared with this announcement.

I really like this queen-size fuzzy (microfiber) blanket by Calvin Klein. I have 4 fuzzy (microfiber) blankets, but they don’t cover my entire body. So, during the cold season, I use 2 blankets when I watch TV in the living room. It’s about time they have a bigger size blanket. I may buy one more as a backup.

It was a quick shopping. I also bought gas and ate a slice of pizza.

I used a $2.00 coupon for Irish Spring (original). I always use 2 soaps, Irish Springs (dry) and Dove (moisturized). To me, it is important that I have two different kinds of soaps. For example, I want my face to be squeaky clean, but I don’t want my arms to dry. With today’s shopping, I don’t have to worry about soap for the next 2-3 years.

What’s in the bag is a lobster tail (small one – $7.20)

I was a little disappointed at the peanuts. They were not as meaty as they were supposed to. They were all on the dark side (color) and kind of dry as if they were over-roasted. It has a hint of bitterness in taste. I am not really happy with this batch. It will be a long time until I buy these peanuts again.

I didn’t see any Christmas items at Costco yet.

3 pairs of work gloves (medium):

I always use gloves when I work around the house. I tried a number of different gloves so far, and I was not happy with any of them. I tried all the cheap ones. I also tried generic leather work gloves from the local hardware store. I wore them out pretty quick. Some rubber-coated gloves worked well on garden works, but they made my hand smell terrible that I just couldn’t use them.

These leather gloves are excellent. So far, they are my favorite.
